  • Calinski named Academic Leadership Fellow

    Diane Calinski, Ph.D., has been selected as one of 35 participants in the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Academic Leadership Fellows Program.

    Calinski is chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Graduate Life Sciences and an associate professor at Manchester University Fort Wayne.

    In 2018 she received the AACP New Investigator Award for her proposal on synthetic cathinone-mediated inhibition of the cytochrome P450 CYP2D6.

  • Gordon inducted as Distinguished Fellow

    The National Academies of Practice (NAP) announced the election of Sarah Gordon as a Distinguished Fellow in the Pharmacy Academy. Class of 2023 Fellows were welcomed into the National Academies of Practice during the awards and induction ceremony in Washington, D.C., on April 1.

    Gordon is an associate professor of pharmacy practice. assistant dean of pharmacy curricular affairs and interprofessional education coordinator at Manchester. Here's what NAP said about her.

There's nothing like planning an event, only to find out there is a competing event at the same time. To help prevent scheduling conflicts, add your event to the Manchester University online calendar, click here, look for the SUBMIT AN EVENT button and fill in your information. An email then goes to a member of the communications team, who will complete the update. It’s easy! Because details for an event might change between the time it is submitted and the actual event, please send any changes to stories@swissabc.net and put "Calendar Change" in the subject line. 

Writing for MU?

We ask those who write for University publications, the website and other nonacademic material to follow The Manchester Style. Although the guide is not comprehensive, it does include terms and names unique to Manchester. It also addresses punctuation and Athletics guidelines. With intentional use, these guideline help tell the One Manchester story in a consistent way.
